Short Film

Film Synopsis: Two friends embark on an adventure to visit sculptures around the world. As they experience art and beauty together, their relationship blossoms and evolves.

Making Of

This film was inspired by the love of art and what it means to share that love and wonder with others, how we can find connection and company through the beauty that surrounds us

All the backgrounds were created using a mix of digital tools like Adobe Photoshop and hand-drawn color pencil textures and layouts.

We wanted the backgrounds and sculptures to progress through the film at the same time as the characters’ relationship. Through the change of color and atmosphere, we crafted layers of meaning through the layout design.

Screenings + Awards

The film was animated by hand frame by frame, colored and textured using Toon Boom Harmony, for compositing, we used After Effects and Premiere Pro
